Case converter
Paste a headline, a list or a variable name and copy it back in the case you need. Title case follows AP and Chicago rules, so short words like “and” and “of” stay lowercase mid-title, and deliberate capitals such as AI, iPhone and LinkedIn are left as written.
Title case rules
Every word is capitalised except articles, coordinating conjunctions and prepositions of four letters or fewer — a, an, the, and, but, or, for, nor, as, at, by, in, of, on, to, up, via, with. Those stay lowercase unless they open or close the title, or follow a colon.
Hyphenated compounds capitalise each part: “Well-Known”, “Long-Term”. Words with a capital after the first letter, and words written entirely in capitals, are treated as deliberate and kept. When the whole input is in capitals, nothing is treated as deliberate, and acronyms need restoring by hand.

What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalises every major word: “How AI Search Is Changing the Market”. Sentence case capitalises only the first word and proper nouns: “How AI search is changing the market”. Most style guides now prefer sentence case for headings in digital products.
Which words stay lowercase in title case?
Articles (a, an, the), coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, nor, for, yet, so) and short prepositions (at, by, in, of, on, to, up, via, with). The first and last words are always capitalised.
How do I convert uppercase text to normal text?
Use Sentence case. It lowercases the text and capitalises the first letter of each sentence, plus the pronoun “I”. Acronyms written in capitals in the original will need restoring by hand, because an all-capitals input gives no way to tell them apart.
What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case used for?
Naming in code and URLs. camelCase is standard for JavaScript variables, PascalCase for class and component names, snake_case for Python and database columns, kebab-case for URLs and CSS classes, and CONSTANT_CASE for environment variables.
