A mention is the engine naming your brand in its answer. A citation is the engine linking to a page as a source. Allswap counts both separately, because a brand can be recommended warmly in an answer that cites someone else's page entirely.
Can I see the exact answer an engine gave?
Yes. Every mention opens the full response, turn by turn, exactly as the engine wrote it, with your brand and every competitor marked in place.
